Loam and Eocenic sand, locally known as "ponca", with layers of clay. This vine is planted in sloping areas. Local variety of vine is the crown jewel of Friulian wine production.

Processing
Collected in boxes, after brief skin contact and removal from vines, cold-crushing for 24 hours at 10 ¡C. Then soft pressing and fermentation in steel vats at 15-18 ¡C Followed by resting on fine dregs for about 6 months, with weekly battonage. Then bland filtering and bottling.
Organolectic characteristics
Appearance: straw yellow colour
Bouquet: intense yet delicate, with a prevalence of wildflowers, almonds and peaches.
Flavour: pleasant entry with typical sensation of almond and sweet.

Food combinations
It accompanies starters, first courses and white meats. Also suitable as an aperitif.
